Testimonials

“One of the best things I have ever spent my money on in my life is this guitar. For the rest of my life, I will only buy guitars made by Jon. He is a top-notch luthier and I could not speak more highly of his creations. The beauty of them makes it an art piece in and of itself, and the depth and warmth of the sound make it the highest quality guitar you will own.”

“Jon fixed or set-up all three of my guitars; two Martins (an HD-28V and a 1949 OO-17) and a Taylor T5. They’ve never played or sounded better. The HD-28V needed some serious work repairing a crack that was the result of dry conditions, and was also able to “re-humidify” the guitar. I cannot recommend his work highly enough.”

Jon was wonderful to work with and did a great job on my guitar. My acoustic guitar was a gift from my father when I was 16 years old and has a lot of sentimental value. Jon treated it with great care and made adjustments that weren't just "band-aids", but long term improvements. Not only is he a very knowledgeable luthier, but Jon is also a great musician and sound engineer. This gives him a well-rounded understanding of how to make guitars sound their best, while also giving me some helpful tips on keeping them in good shape while touring and gigging. Jon is also a fantastic craftsman, and the guitars he builds are unique in appearance, and sound. I would definitely recommend Jon for any of your luthier needs!
